UPDATED: October 11, 2019

GettaVet (“GV,” “We,” “Us,” and “Our”) is committed to sustaining your (“You” and “Your”) trust in Us. This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures regarding how We collect, use, and disclose Your information in terms of this website (gettavet.com) and the corresponding web and mobile application/platform (collectively, “Site”) and the services that We offer Our users. This Privacy Policy applies whether You access Our services through this website or Our mobile application.

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information about and from You if You contact Us to inquire about Our services. We will also collect information that is necessary for Us to provide You the services that You request, to help serve Your needs, to make customized offerings of Our services for You, and to fulfill legal and regulatory requirements. This includes the information necessary to verify that You are an active duty member of the military, veteran or military retiree with an honorable discharge, and/or a spouse of one of these (collectively, “Veterans”) and to complete a criminal record search, sex offender search, search for civil judgments, and any other search We deem necessary prior to allowing the Veteran to post ads on Our Site. All Veterans that are not on active duty must provide their or their spouse’s DD Form 214 when applying to be a Veteran on Our Site. Active duty members will be verified using the Defense Manpower Data Center’s (DMDC) Military Verification service.

Both the amount and type of information We collect will be limited to what is necessary for the reasons above. The purpose for collecting this data is to provide You the services You requested from Us. We collect and hold Your information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide those services or to fulfill legal and regulatory requirements.

By using one of Our services, You gave consent for Us to contact You regarding that service as part of Our commitment to customer service.

If You opt-in to receive marketing emails from Us, You voluntarily consent to receive such messages. We also track email usage information to improve Our emails, deliverability, and enhance the content sent to You. You may contact Us regarding this use at any time using the contact information below.
